What Flipkart asks for

A clean, neutral or pure white background on the main image.
Enough resolution for the zoom viewer. Under-sized images look soft exactly where a buyer is inspecting closely.
Up to eight images per listing: the main shot, alternate angles, detail close-ups and lifestyle.
Check the current pixel minimum in Seller Hub before a shoot. It has changed before and published guides disagree with each other.

Flipkart gives you more room than most marketplaces and most sellers do not use it. Eight slots is a lot of space to answer objections, and a listing running three images is leaving five arguments unmade.

The pattern that works is simple. Main image on white so the listing looks clean in a crowded results grid. Then angles, then a detail shot of whatever people ask about in questions, then scale, then lifestyle at the end for the buyer who is nearly convinced.

Flipkart's own zoom is the reason resolution matters more here than the minimum suggests. A buyer who zooms is close to buying, and a soft image at that moment does more damage than a missing one.
