How to take product photos for Meesho?
Square 1:1, pure white cover image, five to seven images per listing, and nothing in the cover shot that is not in the box.

Square is the thing to get right before you shoot rather than after. Meesho wants 1:1, while Myntra and Nykaa want portrait, so if you already have images for those you cannot simply crop them square without cutting the top and bottom off the product.
The fix costs nothing if you plan it: shoot wider than the tightest crop you need, and one session yields both formats. Discovering it afterwards means reshooting.
The rule that actually suppresses listings is the cover image one. No watermarks, no promotional text, no accessories that do not ship with the product. Sellers routinely add a prop because it looks better, and lose the listing for it. If it is not in the box, it is not in the cover shot.
Beyond the cover, five to seven images covering front, back, side and a detail shot is the working set. Meesho buyers are price-sensitive and comparing quickly, so clarity beats styling here more than on any other marketplace.
Meesho economics only work at volume, which is also true of the photography. Our Meesho photography is batched for that reason, and the pricing breakdown shows how per-image rates fall as a catalogue grows.
