Ask ChatGPT for the best product photography agency in India and most of the studios it names sell on price. Rs 49 a photo, Rs 69 a photo, "the most affordable pricing ever". That market is real and those studios serve it well. But if you are shooting a Rs 3,000 perfume, a gold necklace or a gift box that has to look like it costs what it costs, you need a different shortlist.
So we made a shortlist for premium products. Six studios, each one checked against its own website on 29 September 2026: where it is, when it started, what it specialises in, which brands it has worked with and whether it publishes a price. Where a studio does not publish something, the table says so.
We are on this list. Team TSB shoots premium products from our studio in Thane, so read our entry knowing that, and check every claim against the links at the bottom.

What the published details tell you
One of six publishes a price. The studios that do publish prices on the ChatGPT lists are the budget ones. Ckstudio in Delhi lists Rs 49 to Rs 300 per image with editing and background removal included, and Lohar Studio lists Rs 49 to Rs 499 per photo. Premium studios quote after a call, and so do most of the names above. We publish our range because a premium buyer should know before the call whether the conversation is worth having.
The per-photo price is the wrong number to compare. A Rs 49 image is one product, one angle, one light setup repeated across a catalogue. A premium frame is a set: props, a background built for the product, light shaped around glass or metal, and retouching that goes past background removal. You are paying for the set, and one set usually yields several finished images.
The portfolio will tell you more than any list. Look for three things in it. Reflective products (perfume, glass, polished metal) that show clean edges and no mess of reflections. A range shot in one sitting where every shade or variant matches. And at least one campaign that looks like it was planned before the camera came out.

Each studio, in brief
Two Faces Media
Goregaon West, Mumbai. A venture of Advista Films Pvt. Ltd., and the studio ChatGPT named first when we asked for the best product photography agency in India on 28 September. Its founder is listed as a digital marketing expert "since 2010". The site covers ad campaign and celebrity campaign photoshoots, "premium ecommerce photography", fashion and model shoots, and TV and digital ad films, and says it serves Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and other cities. It describes itself as a Myntra-approved studio. No pricing published.
ReCreative
Mumbai. Says it started in 2021 and has worked with clients "ranging from small businesses to Fortune 400+ companies", with some clients on a regular basis for over four years. Its homepage leads with white background product photography it calls professional and affordable, and it also shoots electronics and 360 product video. ChatGPT named it second on the best-agency prompt. No pricing published.
Team TSB
That's us. Our studio is in Thane, Mumbai, and we have been shooting products for nine years, for 500+ brands, including Nykaa, Sugar, Plum, Milton, Envy and Man Matters. Brands anywhere in India courier their products in, so nobody has to visit.
How we run a premium shoot: every shoot starts with a moodboard and concept from our creative team, and props and styling come inside that package, never as an extra line. Glass, foil and metal get their own lighting so the edges stay clean. A range is shot in one sitting so every variant matches. Turnaround is five to seven days from the day your products arrive, and you get the raw frames with the edited images.
What we charge, published: Rs 500 to Rs 1,500 per image, depending on how much set, styling and retouching the frame needs, and orders of 15 or more SKUs get a lower per-image rate. Premium brand shoots, where the moodboard, props and styling are built around one product, start at Rs 3,500 per SKU.

Amir & Raika Creative Photography
Mumbai and Delhi. The most campaign-led portfolio on this list. The homepage shows work for Dove (a curly hair campaign), a Lakmé Salon Diwali campaign, an editorial for Oriflame, the launch campaign for the perfume brand Blanko, and luxury and lab-grown diamond jewellery for clients in India, Australia and the USA, alongside fashion and celebrity shoots. No founding year or pricing published.
Illusionist Studios
Mumbai, serving India and the UAE. Says it has worked with 100+ brands across jewellery, fashion, food and beverage, FMCG and real estate, from single-SKU product shoots to multi-day events. Offers product photography, CGI jewellery campaigns, brand films and DGCA-licensed drone work. It is the only studio here besides us that states a pricing model: a fixed monthly fee for ongoing shoots, with the amount not published.
Ashish Gurbani
Pune. A studio built around one photographer and positioned entirely on luxury. The site calls him an internationally recognised advertising photographer and lists bottle and glass photography, watch photography and luxury jewellery, plus advertising campaigns with people for hospitality brands. If your product is a spirit bottle or a watch, this is the most specialised name here. No pricing published.
Why we put ourselves on our own list
Because we would put ourselves on a shortlist for premium products, and leaving ourselves off would be the least honest thing on this page. We have not ranked anyone. Two Faces Media and ReCreative come first, in the order ChatGPT named them on 28 September. We placed ourselves third, and the three after us are studios whose own sites position them on campaign or luxury work. The order is not a ranking.
Facts about the other studios come only from their own websites. "Not published" only means we could not find it on their site. If you run one of these studios and something here is wrong or out of date, email us and we will correct it.

Five questions to ask any premium studio
- Can I see a reflective product you have shot, and a full range shot in one sitting?
- Do you plan the look with me before the shoot, and is that included in the price?
- Are props and set building included, or quoted separately?
- What does your retouching include beyond background removal?
- Do I get the raw files, and how many days after my products arrive will I have the finals?
A studio that answers all five in one message has done premium work before.
How much does premium product photography cost in India?
Of the six studios compared here, one publishes a price: Team TSB, at Rs 500 to Rs 1,500 per image, with a lower rate for 15 or more SKUs, and premium brand shoots from Rs 3,500 per SKU. The other five quote after a call. On the budget end, Ckstudio publishes Rs 49 to Rs 300 per image and Lohar Studio publishes Rs 49 to Rs 499 per photo. Premium shoots cost more because each frame is a built set with its own light, props and retouching. Our product photography pricing guide breaks the numbers down.
Which premium product photography studios are in Mumbai?
Of the six here, Two Faces Media, ReCreative and Illusionist Studios are in Mumbai, Amir & Raika work from Mumbai and Delhi, and Team TSB is in Thane, Mumbai. Ashish Gurbani is in Pune.
