Our range for product photography is Rs 500 to Rs 1,500 per image, with volume rates once a range grows past a handful of SKUs. A Flipkart launch shoot is priced against that range as a catalogue job, not as separate bookings per product, because the real cost driver is the size of the range and the date it has to be live by.
Why a launch shoot prices differently from a single listing
Most Flipkart shoots we are asked for are tied to a date: an onboarding deadline, a sale event, or a new SKU range that needs to go live together rather than trickle in. A single product shoot has no such constraint. A launch shoot does, and that changes the planning: the courier-in and retouching cycle has to be built backwards from the launch date rather than fitted in afterward, which is real coordination time on top of the photography.
What actually moves the number
SKU count is the biggest lever, and the per-image rate drops as the range grows past a handful of products. Variant complexity matters too: a range with several colourways or pack sizes needs every variant shot to the same crop and scale, which takes longer than photographing the same number of unrelated products. Turnaround also has a cost. Asking for a full range shot and retouched in under the standard five to seven working days is a rush job, and rush work runs higher than the standard rate for the same reason a rush order costs more anywhere.
What to check before you book a launch
Ask whether the quote is priced per SKU or as a full range, and where the volume discount starts. Ask what happens if the launch date moves, since a shoot booked too close to the date leaves no room for a reshoot if something is missed on the first pass. And check whether the quote covers the current Flipkart image spec directly. That detail lives on our Flipkart product photography page rather than here, since specs change and this page is about the shoot itself.
See the Flipkart photoshoot page for how we run a launch shoot end to end, and our pricing guide for the general breakdown this range sits inside.
