What does white background product photography cost?

Marketplace listing images run Rs 150 to Rs 500 per image, which is where most white background work sits. Creative and lifestyle work runs Rs 500 to Rs 2,500. Volume brings the per image number down, so send the SKU count and we will quote against it.

Do you shoot on white or cut the product out?

Shot on white. A cut-out keeps a faint halo, loses the contact shadow and reads as floating. Shooting on white keeps the edge and the shadow real, which is what stops a listing looking cheap.

Will the images pass Amazon and Flipkart checks?

That is what they are built for. We work to the live requirement in the seller portal rather than a pixel size copied from an article, because the platforms change these without notice.

Can you do infographics and lifestyle from the same shoot?

Yes, and it is cheaper done together. The white background set, the infographic base images and the lifestyle frames can come out of one session rather than three.

Where white background images usually go wrong

The background that looks white on a monitor is often grey. Marketplaces measure it, and a background sitting at 245 rather than pure white gets a listing flagged even though the image looks clean to the eye.

The opposite failure is worse. Push the exposure until the background is definitely white and the edges of a pale product dissolve into it. A white bottle on white then loses its own outline.

Cut-outs create the third problem. A product photographed on grey and masked afterwards keeps a faint halo, loses its contact shadow, and floats. Buyers do not name it, but the listing reads as cheap.

Reflective packaging exposes all three at once, which is why glass, foil and metallic finishes are where most white background work falls down.

Shot on white in camera, with the background lit separately from the product so both land correctly without one destroying the other.
The product keeps its own edge. A pale product is held apart from the background with light rather than rescued with an outline in post.
Contact shadow kept where the marketplace allows it, so the product sits on a surface instead of floating.
Files delivered to the frame fill each platform expects, and we work to the live spec in the seller portal rather than a number copied off a blog.
Retouching and revisions included. Dust, seams and label creases cleaned as standard.
