How much does product photography cost in Ahmedabad?
Expect Rs 500 to Rs 1,500 per image. Where you land depends on the product, how long it takes on set, and the package you choose.
Ahmedabad has a wide spread of quotes, and comparing them is harder than it looks because studios price different things. Some quote per photo, others per product across several angles, and a few only quote batch packages. A Rs 200 per photo rate and a Rs 1,000 per photo rate can land far apart once you count how many angles a listing actually needs, because the multiplier is the angle count rather than the product count.
Local studios around SG Highway, CG Road and Prahlad Nagar tend to publish per-image starting rates in the Rs 200 to Rs 350 band, with batch packages from around Rs 2,500 for ten products. Session-based photographers in the city quote differently again, closer to Rs 20,000 for a half day and Rs 35,000 for a full one, which suits a campaign shoot more than a catalogue.
We work with Ahmedabad brands from our Thane studio. You courier the products to us, we shoot, retouch and send the files back. We do not run a collection service there. Anyone promising to pick up from your door in Ahmedabad and shoot in Mumbai is adding a step that someone ends up paying for.
Turnaround is five to seven days from the day your box reaches the studio. You get the retouched selects and the raw frames from the shoot.
What moves the price
- How complex the product is to light and style. A matte box is quick. Glassware, jewellery and anything reflective is not.
- How long it takes on set. Some products are ready to shoot. Others need steaming, assembly or a dozen attempts to sit right.
- How many angles you need per product, which is usually set by where the image has to live.
- Whether the shot needs props, and whether we are sourcing them or you are.
- Volume. A fifty SKU catalogue works out lower per image than a shoot of three.
