Diwali Product Photoshoot Price in India: What a Festive Hamper Shoot Costs and When to Book

A Diwali product shoot is priced per image like any other shoot. What changes is the set, the gift box and the deadline. What it costs, and how far back from your sale date to book it.

Short answer: a Diwali product shoot at Team TSB costs Rs 500 to Rs 1,500 per image, the same range as any shoot at our Thane studio. The festive part changes what goes into each frame. Diyas, florals and a gift box that has to look as good as the products inside it all take longer to set up. The date matters more than the rate, because a hamper shot the week before Diwali misses most of the season it was made for.

Count back from your sale date

Start with the day your festive listing or ad has to go live. Then work backwards.

    - Turnaround is five to seven working days from the day your box reaches our studio. - Add courier time from your city to Thane. - Add a few days before that to agree the mood board, so the set is decided before the product leaves you. - Leave room at the end to upload, get listings approved and put ads through review.

If your hampers are still being packed, shoot one finished sample of each variant. Buyers only see the finished hamper, so one good sample per variant is all the set needs.

We have shoot slots set aside in October for festive work. For most Diwali sales, October is when the shoot needs to happen.

    A hamper is two products

A festive shoot has to sell the box and what is inside it. Those are different frames.

The closed box sells the gift. That is the image a buyer sees when they pick something to send. The open box sells the contents. That frame has to show every product with its label facing the camera, because the buyer is checking what they are paying for.

When we shot RAS Luxury's Diwali box, the lid went behind at an angle so its artwork stayed in frame, and the five bottles sat in a row with every label readable. For Cocoburst we shot the basket from directly overhead, so every product read at once and the Diwali card sat inside the frame.

What moves a festive shoot up the range

    - Hamper variants. Three hamper sizes are three sets, even when the products overlap. - Open and closed versions of each box. That doubles the frames for every variant. - Flame. Lit diyas and tealights look warm but need the light balanced around them, and that takes time on set. - Each product on its own as well. If the items in the hamper also sell separately, they need their own white background frames for those listings.

Send the full list of hamper variants and single products when you ask for a quote. Orders of 15 or more SKUs get a lower per-image rate than one or two.

Props and styling cost nothing extra. Diyas, flowers, fabric and the basket styling come with our creative package, along with the mood board and concept for the set.

Make the festive set last past Diwali

Diwali is one season. Gifting runs from Diwali into Christmas and New Year, then weddings. If the hamper is sold all winter, shoot a second, quieter set in the same session. Keep the same box and a softer background, and leave out the diyas. The diya frames run in October. The quieter frames keep selling after that, and you pay for one booking instead of two.

A Christmas set needs its own cues. For the Meatzza frame below we used pine sprigs, a candle and a maroon cloth.
